Another 40th birthday calls for another 40th birthday cake, and an opportunity to learn a new icing technique.
This time, I went for stripes, and actually so long as you have the equipment and the right conditions not as tricky as you might expect! Here is the finished result!

It wasn’t the best example of my stripe making, but on a very hot and muggy day in the UK, I was pretty pleased with how it ended up!
